Leicester City donate lucrative front-of-shirt space to promote the Thailand Smiles With You campaign.
The campaign tagline will appear on all first-team playing kit throughout the 2020/21 Premier League season as the tourism board looks to utilise the league’s 3bn+ annual audience to spark a resurgence of visitors to the region in the wake of COVID-19.
Thai Tourism joins a growing list of South East Asian brands engaging in football partnerships to generate worldwide awareness, following the likes of AIA, Carabao and Shopee.
On the partnership, Aiyawarr Srivaddhanaprabha, Leicester City Chairman, said:
“The impact of COVID-19 is being felt all over the world and the relationship between Leicester City and King Power gives us the opportunity to support the shared communities that are closest to us.
